March 21, I was opportune to start working with Fesadeb Communications ( a leading media brand in the housing sector; producers of Housing Development Programme on AIT and TVC with Housing Time on raypower and the organizers of the largest housing show in Africa with 15+ countries participating)— more info will be featured on my year review.
Abuja International Housing Show kicks off from 23–26 of July after over a year preparation of it with massive advertisements on digital ads ( Google and social media), Billboards, Leading Media Platforms and Newspapers ( Punch, Leadership, Nationonline, Tribune, Dailypost, TVC, AIT, Raypower, Vision Africa FM and many others)
Looking at my age at 19 with no university degree, I feel like “ mehn can I really carry this massive responsibility and opportunity”. Working as a lead software developer and digital ad manager, much was really required from me.
The Event went successfully hosting more than 400 exhibitors featuring leading housing and construction brands like Urban Shelter, Shelter Afrique (kenya), Family Homes Fund, NMRC, 15+ Chinese housing companies, Turkish Pavilion (Turkey), Julius Begger, Dangote Cement, FMBN, Solignum, CDK e.t.c.
The event got the likes international housing experts, ministers from different African countries and top Nigeria dignitaries like Debra Erb Of OPIC, Kecia Rust Of AUHF, Robert Hornsby, David Gardner, Muonia Tagma etc..
Looking at this massive audience and top dignitaries, comes up fear in me. Not fear of ( Forget Everything And Run) rather (Face Everything And Rise).
As a techie, Mr. Roland Igbinoba’s ( Pison Housing & Roland Igbinoba Foundation) presentation got my interest the most, which was on Proptech ( Property Technology). It got me brainstorming on some viable solutions for the housing sector on fast housing development, security, finance and what blockchain technology and iOT can offer for this sector. this is really a free market.
